In order to help you learn a little more about the work carried out around the world by the main solidarity organizations and international NGOs , today we want to get closer to some of their central areas of work, grouping them into 7 basic areas, each of them developed , as you will see, with a very specific and particular objective. 7 areas of work of international NGOs Development projects Development cooperation projects pursue, among other objectives, guaranteeing the basic rights of people so that they can enjoy the same opportunities, improve their living conditions and prosper by developing economically sustainable projects with their own means. An example of an international NGO that works on development cooperation projects in 39 countries around the world is Oxfam Intermón . Among the main achievements obtained through its action in countries such as Nigeria, Guatemala, Peru, Bolivia, Equatorial Albania Mobile Number List Guinea, South Africa and Mauritania in 2013, the following stand out: Treatment against severe acute malnutrition of more than a million children in the Sahel (UNICEF).
